We took delivery of a large amount of old and slightly battered slate. The load was donated from a very large, very ancient and very well known country house, undergoing a complete roof refurbishment.

Some of the slate was too small, or too badly damaged, to use for items and so it was recycled (we mean smashed into tiny pieces) and went on to a brand new life as decorative garden chippings - the rest is here...

 These imperfect slate signs are etched from our own designs, hand painted and sealed against the weather so they are okay to use outside.

We use reclaimed rope to hang but recommend you change this for wire or chain within the first year dependent on the weather and movement. Signs can also be loosely screwed to a wall, fence or shed.
